Easy Easter Decorations on a Budget
April always brings such excitement to my house. Its spring, the weather is heating up, and our next holiday to decorate for is Easter. I think its important to bring some joy into our home with this virus. I figured setting out some easy Easter decorations on a budget would at least help keep our spirits up.
Make your own!
My first and favorite project for easy Easter decorations this year are these adorable DIY Easter Peeps we made with paint and Cardboard.
You could also use this tutorial to make eggs the same way! Subscribe here to Home&Children to be the first to see how mine come out! 🙂
You Can find Them Thrifting
I find the best Easter decorations at thrift shops and goodwill. Last year I found super cute Easter vases that I couldn’t wait to put flowers in!
Spring and Easter always get me feeling floral. Personally, I don’t like cut flowers because, well, they die, so I always hit up my local dollar tree and get some floral that sets our mood for this beautiful season.
Heres how they came out! I’ll be making the Tutorial with some great tips on making your own floral arrangments soon!
Wooden figures always catch my eye and Easter Decorations are no exception. Here are a couple of my wooden Easter bunnies that hang around for the season. Also found out thrifting!
One year I might repaint and freshen these guys up. Subscribe to Home&Children below so you can be the first to know when I do!
Another great on a budget idea for Easter decorations are to get pictures out from previous Easter holidays. I change out my pictures to photos of the kids with the Easter bunny over the years and fun photos of our holidays as the seasons change.
Use Decor You Already Have
Decorating is mostly finding things in your home that already has the color pallet your using. Look around your home for table cloths (or drapes) and other decors items that might fit in well.
Usually, I host an Easter BBQ with lots of our family in attendance, but with our mandatory stay-at-home orders, I will be keeping it small this year. As I’m reminiscing though, here are a couple of photos from last year’s Easter Decorations on a budget. (pictured above and below)
The kids do a lot of crafting during this time that I love to put out for Easter Decorations too! Rock painting, Painting or making bunnies/eggs with construction paper, and lots more!
Thanks for visiting and looking through our Easter Collection for 2020. These Easter Decorations are simple touches that make our home feel warm and cozy. I hope you found some great inspiration and Happy Easter!
